Using GoAccess to analyze Caddy logs

I was looking for a tool to analyze the Caddy logs for this blog. I ran across a Reddit comment suggesting GoAccess. I have outlined my setup experience using the tool. Adding Mastodon Feedback

I have been following the idea of having Mastodon/Activitypub powered blog comments. While the theme I currently utilize doesn’t have this ability, I am going to dip my toes into this concept. For each post, I am going to add a corresponding Mastodon post for further discussion. I am not looking to get into the business of moderating blog post comments on a separate platform. I expect this will provide an easier method for people to supply their “Um, but actually” feedback. Continue reading

Adding Mastodon Website Verification

In order to be ‘cool’ like the other kids, I wanted to add website verification to my Mastodon account. Luckily, this won’t cost $8 a month. 🤣 Outline below is the process I went through to add website verification. Validate hugo theme functionality: It is necessary to validate the theme being used supported this functionality. For the Bilberry theme, PR #445 added rel=me support to the theme.
